Site Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Expense Recording: Record daily site transactions categorized under materials, labor, machinery, and sub-contractor bills.

• Cash & Petty Cash Management: Handle daily site cash flow, disburse petty cash, and maintain accurate imprest accounts.

• Bill Verification: Verify vendor invoices, work orders, measurement sheets, and delivery challans before processing payments.

• MIS Reports: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports on site expenses, material consumption, and budget variances.

• Manage site accounting operations, including billing, cash flow management, and TDS compliance.

• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for clients.

• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and maintain records according to company policies.

• Coordinate with project teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and payments.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all financial transactions and reconciliations.

• Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-12 years of experience in Site Accounting or similar role.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.), or equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency in using software such as Tally ERP9, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
