Site Acquisition Officer

About the role

To support the company's expansion strategy by identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and securing new store locations. The role is responsible for developing a sustainable pipeline of expansion opportunities and ensuring new sites meet commercial, operational, and financial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure potential sites for new store development in line with the company's expansion plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords, developers, property owners, brokers, and business partners.
• Conduct market surveys to identify high-potential retail locations.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and property developments.
• Conduct site visits and evaluate location suitability.
• Analyze catchment demographics, traffic flow, accessibility, competitor presence, and business potential.
• Prepare site evaluation reports, sales projections, and investment recommendations.
• Present site opportunities to management for approval.
• Lead negotiations with landlords and developers to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
• 2-3 years experience in commercial property leasing, retail expansion, shopping mall leasing, or site acquisition.
• Experience in retail business development is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Commercial and financial awareness.
• Ability to conduct market and location analysis.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good command of English.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented.
