SITE AGENT

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in building construction;
• Strong problem-solving skills; Physically fit and agile;
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
• Positive attitude, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
• Demonstrate good teamwork skills and maintain a strong team spirit with all relevant parties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of works.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, JKR specifications, CIDB regulations, and all applicable statutory requirements.
• Monitor and control site productivity, manpower, machinery, and material utilization.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Identify site issues, technical problems, and construction risks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Attend project coordination meetings, technical meetings, site inspections, and client meetings.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain proper project documentation, including site diaries, inspection records, work permits, material records, and correspondence.
• Review subcontractors' work progress and verify completed work for progress claims.
• Ensure defects are rectified within the required timeframe.
• Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
