About the role

Sunden Paving Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Agent to join our dynamic construction team. This is a full-time position, where you will be at the forefront of our operations, managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards. As Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication between senior management, contractors, and site teams, whilst maintaining rigorous quality control and safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact project success and contribute to the growth of a respected construction company.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing daily site operations and ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Managing site personnel, including labourers, operators, and specialist contractors, whilst maintaining team motivation and productivity
• Monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and materials conform to specifications
• Implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols, including incident reporting and investigations
• Coordinating material deliveries, equipment placement, and logistical arrangements on site
• Maintaining accurate site records, daily logs, progress reports, and photographic documentation
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and project managers to address concerns and provide regular updates
• Managing site facilities, security, and environmental compliance measures
• Identifying and resolving on-site issues promptly to minimise disruption to project delivery

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Agent or Site Supervisor in the construction industry, preferably in landed building construction.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites and site teams
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, equipment operation, and health and safety regulations
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Sound understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with site management software and MS Office applications
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the project area
• Relevant certifications such as CIDB registration, First Aid, or Health and Safety qualifications are advantageous
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
