Site Architect

We are looking for an experienced Site Architect with a strong background in design consultancy, construction supervision, and BIM coordination. The ideal candidate must have experience in steel structure buildings, high-rise developments, and hospitality projects, with hands-on involvement from shell and core through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and coordinate with site engineers and contractors to monitor project progress.
• Resolve technical design and construction-related issues to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Manage design and contract documentation while ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys and oversee quality assurance processes.
• Support BIM activities, including model development, clash detection, query resolution, and documentation standards.
• Develop and maintain BIM templates, libraries, and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate and distribute tasks within the design team, ensuring deliverables meet project scope, quality, and deadlines.
• Assist HR with technical interviews for site department recruitment.
• Contribute to lessons-learned documentation and share technical knowledge and industry best practices across teams.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Building Regulations and applicable building codes.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 6 years of recent UAE experience.
• Previous experience with a reputable architectural/design consultancy is mandatory.
• Proven experience in steel structure buildings, high-rise developments, and hospitality projects.
• Hands-on project experience from shell and core through final completion.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Building Regulations, building codes, construction practices, and contract documentation.
• Good understanding of all project stages, including design development, contract documentation, construction, and project completion.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
• Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
