Site Architect — Davao City

Casas+Architects is looking for an experienced Site Architect based in Davao City to support our ongoing projects in the area.

This is a primarily work-from-home position, with the successful candidate expected to report to our Davao project sites whenever required for inspections, coordination meetings, site concerns, testing, mock-up reviews, punch listing, and other project-related activities.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Architect with strong construction and site experience, excellent technical judgment, and the ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections as required and monitor architectural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, samples, mock-ups, and workmanship standards.
• Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Approval (RFAs) based on issued construction documents, specifications, approved design documents, and applicable codes.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, samples, mock-ups, method statements, and proposed substitutions for compliance with project requirements and design intent.
• Identify and help resolve site discrepancies, coordination conflicts, deviations from approved drawings, and constructability or quality issues before they become significant site problems.
• Coordinate architectural requirements and interfaces with Structural, MEPF, Façade, Interior Design, Landscape, Fire Protection, and other specialist works.
• Participate in technical coordination meetings, site meetings, inspections, testing, mock-up reviews, punch listing, and project handover activities.
• Prepare clear and technically sound site reports, field observation reports, meeting inputs, recommendations, and other construction documentation.
• Monitor architectural works against the latest approved construction documents and revisions.
• Review as-built drawings and verify their consistency with actual site conditions.
• Maintain and monitor records of RFIs, RFAs, submittals, site instructions, architectural observations, non-conformance items, punch lists, and outstanding works.
• Ensure proper document control and revision management to prevent superseded drawings or information from being used for construction.

• Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup while maintaining close and responsive coordination with the project team.

Work Arrangement & Location

• This is a primarily work-from-home position, with regular remote coordination with the Casas+Architects project team.
• Must be based in Davao City..
• Must be available to report on-site whenever required, depending on project activities, inspections, coordination requirements, and construction issues.
• Site attendance may occasionally be required on short notice for urgent project or construction matters.
• Must be comfortable working independently in a remote setup while maintaining close and responsive coordination with the project team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in the Philippines with an active PRC license.
• Graduate of BS Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in construction administration, site supervision and coordination, technical documentation, and architectural detailing.
• Experience in large-scale, high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or institutional projects is preferred.
