Site Assistant

Role Summary

The role focuses on regular monitoring, promptly reporting risks or damage, and supporting efforts to keep finishes such as glass, tiles and Sanitary wares in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas of the site and check that materials, fittings, and installed items are protected from damage.
• Conduct routine checks of finishes, including glass, tiles, Sanitary wares and other completed works.
• Identify potential hazards, exposure, or activities that could damage materials or finishes, and promptly report them to your supervisor.
• Record and communicate any observed damage, missing protective coverings, or other concerns promtly to your supervisor.
• Support the placement and maintenance of protective coverings where directed.
• Keep a simple daily record of assigned-area checks and issues reported.
• Follow site safety requirements and attend any required induction or briefing.
• Carry out other reasonable site-monitoring duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• National Diploma, Higher National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a construction or site environment preferred.
• Observant, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and report concerns promptly.
• Willing to work on site and comply with site rules and safety requirements.
