Site Building Services Engineer (BS) /Site BS Coordinator

About the role

This role involves preparing, modifying, and submitting AutoCAD Shop Drawings for MVAC electrical conduits, signal wiring, and control panels to the Main Contractor for approval. You will station at the construction site to supervise front-line workers and subcontractors, ensuring work quality, progress, and alignment with approved drawings. You will coordinate with the Main Contractor, consultants, and other trade subcontractors to resolve site clashes and service routing issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, modify, and submit AutoCAD Shop Drawings for MVAC electrical conduits, signal wiring, and control panels to the Main Contractor for approval
• Station at the construction site to supervise front-line workers and subcontractors, ensuring work quality, progress, and alignment with approved drawings
• Coordinate with the Main Contractor, consultants, and other trade subcontractors to resolve site clashes and service routing issues (CSD / CBWD coordination)
• Handle site documents, material submissions, and respond to the Main Contractor's comments/queries (Queries/IRS)
• Monitor work progress and report daily/weekly site status to the Project Manager
• Attend weekly progress meetings and manage clients/Main Contractor interactions independently

About you

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience in Revit / BIM is a distinct advantage
• 4 - 8 years of relevant site experience in MVAC or electrical
• Building Project Experience in installation works for residential/commercial projects
• Independent, responsible, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced site environment
