CIVIL ENGINEER – EARTHWORK DEPARTMENT

Project: South Commuter Railway Project (SCRP) S-04, 05, 06

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and monitor civil construction activities at site.
• Review plans, drawings, specifications, and method statements related to earthworks.
• Monitor excavation, backfilling, embankment, grading, compaction, and soil-related works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC, planning, and other site departments.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor quantities, productivity, manpower, equipment, and materials for earthwork activities.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical or construction issues.
• Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and other engineering documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties related to civil and earthwork activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PRC Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, railway, road, or heavy civil construction projects is highly preferred.
• Able to interpret civil, grading, earthwork, and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and site engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
• Willing to start immediately.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
