Site Civil Engineer

About the role

WRN Health Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the development of healthcare infrastructure and facilities that support our mission to deliver quality health services to the communities we serve. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst applying your technical expertise to make a tangible impact on healthcare infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop civil and structural engineering plans, drawings, and specifications for healthcare facilities and related infrastructure projects
• Conduct site surveys, geological assessments, and feasibility studies to support project planning and decision-making
• Prepare detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines for assigned projects
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Perform quality assurance inspections and testing of materials, structural components, and completed works
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and execution
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant Philippine building codes, environmental regulations, and health facility standards
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, permits, and technical records
• Identify and address engineering challenges, developing practical solutions that balance safety, functionality, and cost-effectiveness
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineering staff and construction teams
• Willingness to travel all over the Philippines or be assigned temporarily on sites until the project is finished.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Professional Civil Engineer (PCE) licensure in the Philippines is essential
• Minimum of 2-3 years of post-graduation experience in civil or structural engineering, preferably in healthcare or institutional facility construction
• Strong technical proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software and building information modelling (BIM) tools
• In-depth knowledge of the Philippine National Building Code (PNBC), National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), and relevant health facility standards
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and timeline coordination
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Assist in sourcing manpower for current and future projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
• Understanding of sustainable construction practices and environmental impact assessment principles
• Experience with healthcare facility construction or renovation projects is highly desirable
• Can start ASAP.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
