Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary

ERA Projects is looking for a qualified and experienced Site Civil Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily civil construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, monitoring site progress, and ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Candidates with experience in residential buildings, high-rise buildings, and large villa projects are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at project sites.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, material usage, and construction quality.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and MEP teams.
• Supervise site manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, defects, and potential delays.
• Coordinate concrete works, foundations, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain accurate site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and applicable Bahrain construction regulations.
• Assist with quality inspections, snagging, corrective works, and project handover.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
• Experience in villas, residential buildings, high-rise buildings, or commercial projects is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong site coordination, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred.
• CRPEP registration or licensing is an advantage, where applicable.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
