Site Coordinator/Site Agent

Job description:-

- Focused on logistics, managing communication between the main contractor and consultants, and resolving daily site issues.

- Progress Monitoring: Ensuring the main contractor adheres to the Master Construction Schedule to avoid late delivery liquidated damages (LAD).

- Cross-Party Coordination: Acting as the bridge between the developer's HQ project team, the main contractor, and external consultants (architects, C&S engineers).

- Problem Solving: Addressing immediate site obstructions, material delays, or logistical issues to keep work moving forward.

- Progress Claim Verification: Visually assessing work completion percentages to help the HQ quantity surveyor (QS) verify the contractor's monthly progress claims.

Requirements:-

• Diploma and above in civil engineering, quality surveying, architectural or others construction related field.

• At least 2-5 years’ experience in construction.

• Technical knowledge: familiarity with construction methods, materials, and building codes.

• Proven experience in on-site coordination related to construction industries in Malaysia.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, isometric drawings, and layout plans.

• Excellent communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with all related stakeholders.
