SITE ELECTRICIAN / ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repair works at the construction site.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, distribution boards, temporary power supply and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical systems, cables, tools and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and according to site requirements and applicable standards.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and basic technical documents.
• Assist the Site Engineer / Electrical Supervisor with electrical-related works.
• Maintain proper records of electrical inspections, repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure electrical tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
• Follow company safety procedures and construction site requirements.
• Perform other electrical-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen; Sabah candidates preferred if that is your hiring requirement.

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification is an advantage.

• PW2/PW4 Wireman certification is an advantage, especially if the position requires competent electrical work. Current Sabah listings specifically advertise PW4-certified electricians.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work overtime when required.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Must be responsible, hardworking and safety-conscious.
