Site Engineer Civil

• Review project plans and specifications, establish communication with nearby stakeholders, and make sure all necessary permits and approvals (NOC) are available before commencing excavation.
• Verify the location of underground utilities (telecom, electricity, water, gas) using detection equipment and mandate the execution of trial pits every 10 to 15 meters.
• Mark trench boundaries and alignment corridors precisely with stakes or white powder.
• Assess trench stability continuously and mandate mechanical safety measures such as shoring, bracing, sloping, and benching where necessary to manage the "zone of influence."
• Utilize the company Portal for logistical needs, including vehicle and driver reservations, to ensure site logistics flow smoothly.
• Identify site hazards (falling objects, utility strikes, adverse weather) and implement proactive emergency response plans.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on the acquisition and renewal status of all required local authority permits.
• Submit detailed Manhole Condition Reports and Manhole Foldout Reports as per survey, including marker post conditions, dewatering needs, and road offset measurements.
• Report the findings of the 10-15m trial pits and any unexpected underground utility discoveries.
• Summarize weekly site achievements, portal booking logs, and upcoming technical milestones.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant civil engineering site experience in the UAE.
• Knowledge of ADNOC safety standards or prior experience working on ADNOC sites.
• Required knowledge in Underground Utility Detection, Site Surveying & Inspection, Shoring, Sloping, & Benching, Technical Reporting & AutoCad and Permit Acquisition (NOC)
