Site Engineer (Civil)

Position: Site Engineer – Infrastructure / Real Estate
Location: Adalaj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat
Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage infrastructure and real estate construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, contractor coordination, project monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.

Quality Control

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Verify construction work, materials, and workmanship as per approved specifications.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly.

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure availability of materials and manpower as per project requirements.

Billing & Documentation

• Verify contractor bills, work measurements, and project quantities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project records, drawings, approvals, and technical documentation.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor adherence to local building regulations and statutory requirements.
• Support implementation of safety and environmental practices at site.

Cost Monitoring

• Assist in project cost control and budget monitoring.
• Review material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Support estimation and quantity verification activities.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Infrastructure, Residential, Commercial, Township, or Real Estate Projects.
• Experience in site execution, contractor management, billing verification, and project coordination.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of RCC, finishing works, infrastructure development, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project reporting.
• Understanding of BOQ, quantity estimation, and billing processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple project activities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety standards and construction quality requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates residing in or willing to work at Adalaj, Gandhinagar.
• Experience in real estate developers, infrastructure companies, or construction firms preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
