Job Summary

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring execution as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily site execution activities.
• Read, interpret, and implement approved construction drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Prepare quantity calculations, measurements, and material requirements.
• Assist in billing, BOQ verification, and preparation of RA bills.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with the planning team.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with approved specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor material consumption, labour productivity, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules and construction standards.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and measurement books.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned construction activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ, and billing.
• Understanding of project planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of quality control and construction safety standards.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage contractors, labour, and site activities independently.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Work Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction, commercial buildings, industrial projects, or similar construction works.
