About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer Civil Engineer to join Radtelcom Technologies Corporation in General Santos City, South Cotabato. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the successful execution and delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects. As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts the success of our engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications and safety standards
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare comprehensive progress reports documenting work completed, challenges encountered and remedial actions taken
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage site safety protocols, conduct toolbox meetings and ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety regulations
• Verify material quality and conduct necessary testing to confirm compliance with engineering specifications and standards
• Document site conditions, maintain accurate records of site activities and prepare as-built drawings for project handover
• Identify potential risks and defects during construction and recommend corrective measures to prevent delays or quality issues
• Liaise between the design team, site personnel and management to resolve technical issues and implement design changes when necessary
• Ensure timely submission of required reports, permits and documentation to relevant authorities and project management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from a recognised institution
• Professional Engineering Licence or equivalent certification in your jurisdiction
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in civil and structural engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety standards and relevant building codes and regulations
• Proficiency in using site surveying equipment, construction software and document management systems
• Excellent technical drawing interpretation skills and familiarity with CAD or similar design software
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
• Experience with project management and cost control is highly desirable
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes in construction is preferred
