Site Engineer

About the role

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction. This full-time position requires on-site presence and will see you collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of our infrastructure developments.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities to align with project plans and specifications
• Monitor construction progress and quality, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to manage the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
• Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations on-site
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of construction activities and progress
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed
• Collaborate with the design team to address any design-related challenges that emerge during construction

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
