Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our civil and structural engineering projects. As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This role is critical to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications

• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and workforce productivity

• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure quality standards are met and construction meets design specifications

• Manage health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members comply with safety regulations and best practices

• Liaise between the project management team, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and coordination

• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly, including technical challenges, scheduling conflicts, and resource constraints

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and utilisation of materials and equipment on-site

• Assist in cost control and budget monitoring for the project

• Support the project team in achieving timely project completion and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent registration with the relevant engineering board
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar on-site supervisory role in civil and structural construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices in civil and structural engineering
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in ensuring quality and accuracy
• Proficiency in site management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cost estimation and project budgeting is preferred
