Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Site Engineer to join our project delivery team supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure program in the Philippines. The project involves the rollout of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Home and Enterprise Fiber Network (FTTH/FTH) infrastructure. The Site Engineer will work closely with the Project Supervisor, Design Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that site activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the OSP Design Engineer to ensure proper interpretation and implementation of detailed designs
• Assist the Acquisition team with technical discussions and site-related requirements
• Review and coordinate project implementation schedules and ensure activities are completed according to agreed timelines
• Coordinate with subcontractors and in-house teams for daily site activities and project execution
• Monitor site activities, ensuring proper reporting, documentation, and record keeping
• Ensure that all subcontractors and teams comply with project safety requirements and established procedures
• Conduct site inspections and acceptance activities to verify that completed works meet approved standards and specifications
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, project representatives, contractors, and internal teams
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and reports to management
• Assist the Quality Assurance team in validating and ensuring that project activities meet required quality standards

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications, fiber network deployment, OSP construction, or infrastructure project implementation
• Experience in supporting or coordinating FTTH/FTTx, fiber optic, or telecommunications infrastructure projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of project implementation, construction methodologies, site management, and quality assurance
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation
• Experience coordinating with design teams, acquisition teams, contractors, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders
• Knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and reporting
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements and construction quality standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
