Site Engineer – Construction

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Review drawings and identify technical issues before and during execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, inspection requests, and other required documentation.
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure they comply with approved specifications.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and material requirements.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the site.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, technical issues, and requirements.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, measurements, and completed works.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction/site engineering.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and site execution.
• Ability to coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
