About Your Team

This role sits within the site Operations function and reports directly to the Senior Site Engineer. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and QA/QC, you’ll support the coordination and execution of construction activities while ensuring technical, quality, and safety requirements are maintained throughout your area of responsibility.

Your Role

As a Site Engineer, you will:

• Review drawings and method statements to ensure planned works are clear and technically feasible.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections and raise work inspection requests to QA/QC.
• Monitor and report progress across assigned activities to project leadership.
• Liaise with QA/QC teams to address inspection comments, non-conformances, and closeout actions.
• Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Support the implementation of site safety procedures and monitor compliance within assigned work areas.
• Assist with the preparation of red-line drawings and as-built documentation.
• Participate in short-term lookahead planning and interface coordination.
• Apply technical expertise to resolve site challenges and support high-quality project outcomes.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project closeout activities where required.

This role is full time and follows a Monday to Saturday work week, typical for project-based positions in our industry.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience within construction and site engineering environments.

• UAE experience required.

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of technical drawings and project specifications.
• Familiarity with method statements, inspections, and quality documentation.
• Good understanding of site safety practices and compliance standards.
• Understanding of testing, commissioning, and handover procedures is desirable.

Skills:

• Strong site coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable:

• Exposure to BIM tools and document control platforms.
• Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and project closeout phases.

Qualifications:

• Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• First Aider certification.
