What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Design coordination: Support project planning and engineering activities, review design drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate revisions with the Project Manager, consultants, and Draftsman.
• Constructability assessment: Evaluate designs and propose practical construction methodologies that meet client and authority requirements.
• Technical documentation: Prepare method statements, engineering reports, technical documents, presentation materials, and other project documentation.
• Site execution and quality: Assist the Project Manager with planning and site activities, monitor construction quality and progress, and ensure work complies with specifications, approved procedures, inspections, and testing requirements.
• Technical issue resolution: Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues, defects, non-conforming work, and site matters throughout the project lifecycle.

What do we need from you (Job Requirements)

• Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, quality control, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to travel or work at project sites when required.
• Based at the HQ in Damansara Uptown, Selangor, with project-site assignments as required.
