SITE ENGINEER

About the role

CITI Trenchless SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our civil and structural engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Penampang, Sabah. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the technical execution of trenchless construction projects on-site. You will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. This position is fundamental to the successful delivery of our engineering projects and directly impacts project outcomes, client satisfaction, and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and drawings
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitoring to verify work quality, accuracy, and adherence to engineering standards
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication on-site
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, progress documentation, and as-built records
• Support the senior engineering team in preparing reports, analyses, and documentation for clients and stakeholders

What we're looking for

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders

• A valid driving licence is essential for this role
