SITE ENGINEER

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
2. At least 1-3 year(s) of relevant working experience;
3. Strong problem-solving skills; Physically fit and agile;
4. Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
5. Positive attitude, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
6. Demonstrate good teamwork skills and maintain a strong team spirit with all relevant parties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Good & effective team player. Proactive. Have a good level of communication skills. You will need to be an effective communicator with all project stakeholders. Preparedness to deal with conflicts is of the essence.
2. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and supervising the construction project from conception to completion.
3. Assist in the work planning and sequencing of the construction operation according to the project quality plan.
4. Evaluate, resolve, and report discrepancies and problems arising during the progress of construction work that affect the quality of work performed.
5. Assist in preparing project progress reports for top management.
6. Attend site meetings, third-party coordination meetings, and subcontractor meeting to solve technical issues and other related matters.
7. Conduct daily briefing with site team and follow up work progress in order to anticipate any possible delay with regards to planned tasks.
8. To coordinate project work such as additional & alteration work, maintenance, and defects work.
9. To monitor the quality of works done by sub-contractors, workers, and items delivered to the site.
