SITE ENGINEER

About the role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate daily construction activities at project site. The role involves supervising site works, monitoring project progress, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications and coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure work progress is in accordance with the project schedule
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and required quality standards
• Prepare, review and update AutoCAD drawings and other technical documents based on project requirements and site conditions
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site teams on technical and operational matters
• Monitor compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements at the site
• Prepare and maintain site reports, documentation and project records for monitoring, audit and reference purposes
• Conduct site inspections and identify defects, non-conformance or site issues
• Monitor material usage, deliveries and storage at site
• Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and inspection requirements
• Attend site meetings, technical discussions and coordination meetings

About you

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction or site engineering
• Knowledge of construction methods, site operations, drawings and specifications
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Good knowledge of project coordination, site supervision and quality control
• Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and site personnel
• Good problem-solving, communication and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities
• Familiar with safety requirements and construction industry practices
