About the Role

As a Site Engineer, you'll support the delivery of pipeline renewal and repair projects across water and wastewater infrastructure. Working alongside experienced project teams, you'll gain exposure to both trenching and trenchless construction methods while developing your planning, coordination and site management skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has completed a graduate programme or gained some industry experience and is ready to take the next step in their career.

• Assisting with the planning and coordination of pipeline renewal works
• Supporting site teams delivering trenching and trenchless construction activities
• Monitoring daily progress and helping to resolve site issues
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers on project requirements
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
• Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality requirements
• Maintaining project records and documentation

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Around 1-3 years' experience in civil construction, utilities or infrastructure projects
• An interest in underground services, pipelines or water infrastructure
• Exposure to trenching, pipeline installation or utility construction activities
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced project teams
• A current NZ Driver Licence
