Site Engineer

About the role

This is a Project Base Contract role responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating with engineers, contractors, government agencies, and suppliers, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure alignment with approved plans and technical specifications
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, government agencies, and suppliers to resolve technical issues promptly
• Track project progress, prepare site reports, and update stakeholders on milestones, delays, and corrective actions
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines
• Conduct regular inspections, material verification, and quality control assessments
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents for accurate execution
• Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Manage permits, daily logs, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies for permits, inspections, and compliance matters
• Identify potential risks or delays and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualification

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• 2 years work experience in vertical project is preferred
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD is preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills is preferred
• OSH & First Aid training is an advantage.
