Site Engineer

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, HSE, quality, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with landlords, clients, contractors, and subcontractors for site approvals, WIRs, permits, inspections, and other requirements.
• Prepare daily task plans and weekly look-ahead schedules for site execution.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources to ensure smooth project progress.
• Coordinate technical information with the site team and support preparation of shop drawings, sketches, and details.
• Monitor site progress, identify delays and constraints, and report them to the Project Manager.
• Carry out site measurements and quantity take-offs as required.
• Supervise installations and ensure materials and workmanship comply with project specifications.
• Monitor labour productivity and maintain relevant site records.
• Coordinate with Technical, MEP, Production, Procurement, and other departments.
• Identify deviations from drawings and coordinate with the Technical/Design Team for resolution.
• Ensure proper material handling and minimize material wastage.
• Proactively identify and close defects and outstanding works, following a Zero-Snags approach.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders and ensure timely follow-up on approvals and deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects.
• INTERIOR FIT-OUT EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
• Candidates without relevant Interior Fit-Out experience will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of site execution, construction methods, quality, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• UAE experience in interior fit-out projects is preferred.
