Job Description

Hornbill Construction is looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate should have strong site coordination skills, relevant construction experience, and the ability to manage day-to-day site activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project teams.
• Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure proper execution of civil and construction works as per project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical or quality issues.
• Maintain daily site records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and site regulations.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at site.
• Assist in resolving site-related technical and construction issues.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site engineering.
• GCC experience is required.
• Oman construction experience will be an added advantage.
• Valid Oman Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage site responsibilities effectively.
• Candidates currently available in Oman are preferred.
