Site Engineer

About the Role

We are a wastewater management consultancy company currently undertaking a project at an Oil & Gas site in Pengerang, Johor.

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer who is capable of taking a team leadership role, coordinating site activities, delegating work effectively, and closely monitoring the daily progress of the project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure that project activities are carried out safely, efficiently and according to schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the site team.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to engineers, technicians and other site personnel.
• Monitor and follow up on daily project progress, work schedules and outstanding tasks.
• Ensure assigned works are completed according to project requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, client representatives, contractors and other relevant parties.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing project activities.
• Identify site issues, delays or technical problems and follow up until resolution.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress updates, site records and relevant reports.
• Ensure the team complies with Oil & Gas site safety requirements, procedures and regulations.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status when required.
• Support wastewater treatment/project-related installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and other engineering activities.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
