Duties and responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

• Review construction schedules and monitor progress.
• Prepare work plans and ensure activities meet project milestones.
• Identify potential delays and propose corrective actions.
• Assist Project Manager in project execution and monitoring.

Quality Control & Coordination

• Conduct regular site inspections and monitoring to ensure construction works compliance with quality standards and according to contract, approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants.
• To enforce QA/QC, prepare and close quality-related reports and non-conformance issues.

Technical Support

• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist in resolve technical issues encountered during construction.
• Assist in design reviews and constructability assessments.

Consultant & Contractor Liaison

• Attend CCM & Site meetings
• Follow up on inspection requests and verification.
• Follow up on discrepancy for site solution
• Support project handover and defect rectification.

Documentation & Reporting

• Verification site diary and progress reports.
• Manage site documents, drawings, inspection records and revision controls.
• To carry out final inspections and handovers including ensuring that all as-built drawings are prepared & a copy kept with relevant management prior to issuance of Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC) and Certificate of Completion & Compliance (CCC)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate should possess min. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Project Management or any equivalent Engineering studies.
• Working experience in High Rise Building.
• Must be technically competent in both building & infrastructure works
• Able to liaise with the consultants & main contractor in monitoring the site progress & quality control independently to ensure that the project’s requirement as expressed in the drawings/tender documents are properly executed
• Ability to commence work in short notice would be an advantage
• Possess valid driving license and own transport
