Site Engineer

About the role

Site Engineer responsible for research, design, fabrication and installation of HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client requirements in both large and small projects. You will consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, working with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals to create and modify design parameters.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, fabricate and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client's requirements
• Consult on HVAC system and equipment design and work with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals
• Develop and oversee all aspects of production including Clean Room design, computer modeling, selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, testing, and implementation
• Analyze HVAC systems and equipment to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance
• Design testing procedures and control equipment to assess products and identify areas requiring modification
• Communicate directly with customers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments
• Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for construction projects
• Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of managers and team during all project phases
• Prepare engineering studies, reports, progress reports, billing reports and incident reports
• Develop strong CAD based design skills and perform drafting and design work

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus experience in the HVAC engineering industry
• Must have experience in HVAC / Air conditioning System
• Skills in BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and estimation
• Knowledgeable and skills in AutoCAD
• Certification for BOSH/COSH Training
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Punctual and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Thorough working knowledge of applicable standards and codes
• Preferably residing in Metro Manila or nearby areas
