Site Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and according to design specifications and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction operations on-site
• Ensure work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and standards
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve technical issues
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports
• Assist in material procurement, allocation, and inventory monitoring
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Identify and report potential risks, delays, or design discrepancies
• Support the project manager in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role in construction
• Minimum 1-2 years of site engineering experience required
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, or other design software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software required
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
