Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in heavy civil structures, railway bridges, or large-scale public utility buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Execution: Oversee daily construction activities for structural elements, including pile foundations, pile caps, rafts, columns, beams, slabs, and retaining walls.
• Railway & Bridge Works: Supervise the construction of Box/Pipe Culverts, ROBs (Railway Over Bridges), RUBs (Railway Under Bridges), viaducts, or associated public infrastructure.
• Drawing & Material Management: Read and interpret General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), prepare accurate Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and schedule material requirements in advance.
• Quality & Safety Control: Conduct field alignment tests using Auto Level / Total Station, check concrete slump, cast test cubes, and maintain strict structural safety protocols.
• Billing & Reporting: Prepare subcontractor bills based on work site measurements and provide daily/weekly progress updates to the project management team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven on-site execution experience in Infrastructure, Railways, Bridges, or Public/Govt Buildings.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel (for BBS/Billing), AutoCAD, and operational knowledge of Auto Level / Total Station.
• Location Flexibility: Must be comfortable working on-site and travelling across the Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Araku ghat sections.
