SITE ENGINEER

• Study drawings and specifications before starting work and clarify any discrepancies.
• Set out the works by checking dimensions, levels, coordinates, alignment, and locations of structural elements.
• Supervise daily construction activities, including excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, finishes, and other relevant works.
• Coordinate subcontractors and workers so activities are performed in the correct sequence.
• Inspect work quality and ensure construction follows approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and required standards.
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure approved materials are being used.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC engineers, consultants, and other relevant parties before proceeding with subsequent work.
• Monitor progress against the construction schedule and report delays or site problems.
• Prepare site records, such as daily progress reports, inspection requests, material requests, measurements, and work-completion records.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, particularly civil/structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams.
• Ensure site safety requirements are followed in coordination with the HSE/safety team.
• Identify technical problems and communicate with senior engineers, consultants, or designers to obtain solutions.
• Control quantities and reduce waste, including monitoring concrete, reinforcement, blocks, finishing materials, and other resources.
• Check completed work before handing it over for consultant/client inspection.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover toward the end of the project

Pay: ₦130,000.00 per month
