Site Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Conduct daily site inspections and document progress, identifying any deviations from project requirements
• Manage quality control procedures and ensure all materials and workmanship meet specified standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, labourers and other site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance
• Prepare and maintain detailed site records, daily reports, and project documentation
• Identify and resolve technical issues and construction challenges in real-time
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
• Liaise with project managers and clients regarding progress updates and any issues requiring escalation
• Assist in quantity surveying and material procurement verification
• Support the training and development of site staff on safety procedures and work methods

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes applicable in the Philippines
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Experience with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Engineer licence is highly advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in various weather conditions on-site
