Site Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee the execution of an interior and fit out project in Goa. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience in site execution, interior fit outs, coordination with contractors and vendors, and day to day site supervision.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the work on site is executed as per the approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• ⁠ ⁠Supervise and monitor day to day site execution for interior and fit out works.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure work is carried out as per approved architectural, interior, MEP and detailed drawings.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site workers.

• ⁠ ⁠Read and interpret architectural, interior and MEP drawings.

• ⁠ ⁠Check dimensions, levels, alignments and workmanship at site.

• ⁠ ⁠Monitor quality of materials and workmanship as per project specifications.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with the design and project team to resolve site related issues.

• ⁠ ⁠Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and report them to the project team.

• ⁠ ⁠Track site progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project schedule.

• ⁠ ⁠Maintain daily site reports, work updates and records of materials and activities.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate material deliveries and ensure materials are properly received and stored at site.

• ⁠ ⁠Monitor finishing works including flooring, false ceiling, partitions, carpentry, painting, furniture and other interior works.

• ⁠ ⁠Coordinate with MEP contractors for services integration with interior works.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure proper execution of details and finishes as per approved samples and drawings.

• ⁠ ⁠Monitor safety and housekeeping standards at the project site.

• ⁠ ⁠Attend site meetings and communicate progress, challenges and requirements to the project team.

• ⁠ ⁠Assist in measurements, quantity checks and verification of completed works.

• ⁠ ⁠Ensure timely rectification of defects and pending works.

Requirements

• ⁠ ⁠Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture or a related field.

• ⁠ ⁠2 to 5 years of relevant site experience, preferably in interior fit out or hospitality projects.

• ⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of interior construction and finishing works.

• ⁠ ⁠Ability to read and understand architectural, interior and MEP drawings.

• ⁠ ⁠Strong site coordination and problem solving skills.

• ⁠ ⁠Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple agencies.

• ⁠ ⁠Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.

• ⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and manage day to day site activities.

• ⁠ ⁠Willingness to be based in Goa for the duration of the project.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
