Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the PM's right hand on site: carry out instructions, report progress and issues daily, and close out open items
• Coordinate with all stakeholders: clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, building management and authorities; attend site meetings
• Supervise daily site works on villa, supermarket and café/F&B projects according to approved drawings, specifications and schedule
• Coordinate civil, MEP and finishing trades, plus specialist equipment (kitchen, cold rooms, refrigeration, shelving, exhaust)
• Manage subcontractors, foremen and labor; set daily targets and check output
• Prepare and update construction schedules and weekly/monthly plans for manpower, materials and equipment
• Procure materials and equipment: purchase requests, quotations, supplier selection, order and delivery follow-up
• Carry out quantity take-offs, check BOQs, measure completed works and prepare progress payment claims
• Control costs and variations: track costs against budget, price variation orders, flag overruns early and support the final account
• Control quality: inspections, inspection requests, material submittals and shop drawings
• Obtain authority approvals and inspections (DM, Civil Defense, DEWA, Trakhees) and enforce HSE on site
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and site diaries; manage snagging, as-built drawings and handover documents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of site engineering experience in the UAE on villa, retail or F&B fit-out projects (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of finishing works and MEP coordination; able to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings
• Basic QS skills: quantity take-off, BOQ, site measurement and progress billing
• Familiar with UAE authority procedures (DM, DCD, DEWA, Trakhees)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Project (Primavera is a plus)
• Good communication skills in English; able to handle multiple sites at the same time
• Experience on G+ building projects is an advantage
• Based in the UAE with a valid residence visa (own or transferable visa preferred)

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
