Site Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in Facilities Management, MEP, and Fit-Out works.
• Proven experience in Emaar properties/projects and familiarity with Emaar inspection and approval procedures.
• Strong experience in Fit-Out Inspection, including civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC works.
• Experience in conducting site inspections, identifying defects, preparing snag lists, and ensuring timely closure of inspection comments.
• Experience in coordinating and attending Emaar/consultant/client inspections and following up on approvals and NOCs.
• Good knowledge of Emaar fit-out requirements, guidelines, permits, NOCs, inspection procedures, and handover requirements.
• Experience in FM operations and maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP and building services.
• Good technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pumps, generators, BMS, and other MEP services.
• Ability to supervise technicians, subcontractors, and fit-out contractors and ensure works are completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, risk assessments, inspection requests, and as-built drawings.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, material take-offs, cost estimates, and quotations for maintenance, MEP, and fit-out works.
• Experience in cost estimation, material pricing, labour costing, and preparing commercial/technical proposals.
• Prepare detailed site inspection reports, snag reports, technical reports, maintenance reports, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, Emaar representatives, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and authority regulations.
• Experience in handling fit-out handover, testing & commissioning, snagging, and close-out documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of estimating/BOQ software is an advantage.
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Emaar experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred.
