Site Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and project plans
• Ensure work is carried out according to specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and project managers
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily or weekly site reports
• Inspect materials and workmanship for quality compliance
• Manage labor, equipment, and material usage efficiently
• Resolve technical issues that arise during construction
• Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations

About you

• Knowledge of civil engineering and construction methods
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Time management and organizational skills
• Familiarity with construction software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera
• Understanding of quality control and safety standards
