Job Overview:

We are seeking a 4+ years' experience Operations & Maintenance engineer with good expertise in continuous process industries, specifically in Alkaline Electrolysers, ASUs, Petrochemicals, Fertilisers or any other process plants. The ideal candidate will have a BE/BTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and a proven track record in plant operations and maintenance, Including Handling process plants independently and analysing product and plant safety requirements, as well as optimisation. This role requires experience in commissioning and O&M of continuous process plants. The candidate can run, monitor, and improve plant operations; support other plants during shutdowns/trips/commissioning; and drive operational excellence through standardisation and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant running & Performance Monitoring:

1. Oversee the performance of all plant activities at site, analysing individual equipment health and efficiency, Process safety activity implementation and monitoring plant parameters.
2. Maintain plant performance and generate comprehensive reports on plant operations, highlighting plant observations and work for improvement.

Operational Optimisation:

1. Work as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency across all sites.
2. Provide observational insights of daily operations and recommendations for further optimisation and process improvements.
3. Work with site team engineers and upcoming projects support to develop and implement process/efficiency improvement plans.

Troubleshooting and Support:

1. Involved in technical activities and troubleshooting expertise for any operational issues that arise at plant sites.
2. Assist other sites during shutdowns, trips, and commissioning activities to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

Training and Development:

1. Support the delivery of training programs at site on safe and efficient plant operations.
2. Active participation is needed to ensure that best practices and operational standards are communicated and adhered to at plant locations.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Hands-on experience with different methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.
2. Work actively to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost reductions.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/BTech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 04-05 years of experience in operations & Maintenance management within Alkaline Electrolysers, ASUs, Petrochemicals, Fertilisers or any other process plants.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of continuous process industries and equipment performance.
• Proficient in plant performance analysis, efficiency monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in developing operational guidelines.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively interact with customer & plant operation teams and central management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Based at Shendra MIDC area, Aurangabad, Maharashtra
• Willingness to work in shifts & varied environments and provide physical support as needed during plant operations.
