Site Engineer

About the role

This role involves RAN Integration and Commissioning activities for BBU (V9200/8200) and related equipment, with site implementation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems for UM & Digi projects. You will handle Node B and Microwave transmission equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, performing end-to-end ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) with clients and ensuring documentation is completed accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Perform RAN Integration and Commissioning activities for BBU (V9200/8200) and related equipment
• Conduct site implementation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication systems for UM & Digi projects
• Handle Node B and Microwave transmission equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Perform end-to-end ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) with clients and ensure documentation is completed accurately
• Carry out alarms monitoring, fault analysis, and troubleshooting for RAN, Node B, and microwave nodes to ensure network stability
• Provide support team coordination for on-site and remote troubleshooting
• Manage site material handling, including key collection, site access, and handover with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project standards during site activities
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, site documentation, and as-built records
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, or related field
• Experience in UM & Digi RAN integration and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of Node B, Microwave, and BBU systems
• Hands-on experience in alarm handling, troubleshooting, and ATP execution
• Ability to work independently at site with minimal supervision
• Willing to travel and work in field conditions and extended hours when required
