Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:
SITE SUPPORT ENGINEER

Work with and assist Project Management team to perform the work in a timely manner with strict adherence to quality and safety

Provide assistance and coordination with subcontractors to ensure schedules are met

Attend site meetings together with Project Manager as per agreed frequency

Ensure professional approach consistently throughout the duration of the project

MEETINGS

Attend and participate in Client kick-off meetings for assigned projects

Attend and update internal meetings for assigned projects

Attend pre-construction meetings with Business Development and Operations team for assigned projects on case by case basis

Attend Client project update meetings for assigned projects as per agreed frequency

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the project manager to verify subcontractor proposals for assigned projects during the award stage and ensure that such proposals are not open ended

Help to work in a smart manner to control costs

Strict Compliance to key legal obligations

Follow up on project and flag if there is any issue with keeping to schedule

Understand Project cost and budget management

Follow up on defect rectification progress, particularly during the handover stage

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and submit assigned project documentation to project manger

Submit assigned project progress report to Project Manager

Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to meet the following:
Must be able to manage more than one project concurrently as and when required

Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Have a customer focused mindset

Able to meet demanding schedule requirements

Must be able to work with assigned team

Able to speak in Tamil with other construction team members will be an advantage
