What they need
- Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statements and the core values of the organization; ensures that subordinate employees perform their respective functions in like manner. Uphold the ethos of the Company in terms of professional standards.
- Prepares weekly planner on activities to be undertaken and prepares reports on actual results, outputs and accomplishments based on plans at the end of the week; consolidates accomplishment reports into monthly performance reports.
- Ensures that from start to finish, the construction project site activities are done within a specific time frame and cost-effective manner.
- Has an ability to conceptualize shop drawings through AutoCAD or Sketch-up, do some minor structural design works and cost estimating works.
- Makes sure the Project Site team meets the program and project scope as well as establishes and meets timelines.
- Assists the Senior Project Engineer in providing the necessary policies and procedures to carefully select the subcontractors and workers of project sites.
- Implements the required systems and controls for the construction laborer, contractors and other professionals associated with the project.
- Support the company in the development of new and existing client relationships.
- Daily email checks for correspondence from many project stakeholders.
- Deals with matters arising from stakeholders such as environmental and local community issues in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Monitors budget reports, Bill of Materials/Quantities, and similar documents that pertain to construction related budgets.
- Report works progress and budget matters to Project Manager in the form of an Accomplishment Report including, but not limited to:
- Contractors’ Progress Accomplishment Report
- Gantt Chart and Critical Path Analysis
- Site Status Photos
- Site Minutes of Meeting
- Heavy Equipment Usage and Monitoring
- Monthly Inventories
- BOQ vs. Issued Materials
- Others
- Responsible for implementing project development plans in terms of adherence to the design, construction plans and specifications.
- Monitors and coordinates resource allocation to the construction project site in terms of construction materials/supplies, manpower requirements, equipment requirements and temporary facilities.
- Monitor and inspect the project site regularly to ensure that all quality control procedures are being adhered to and that the highest standards of construction are being achieved as reflected in good Construction Audit results.
- Review cost value comparison based on actual and budgeted. Take necessary actions to align the cost.
- Implements policy and guidelines for Scrap and Garbage Disposal.
- Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
