Site Engineer (Construction) – Fresh Graduates Welcome

About the role

You will assist the project team in coordinating daily site activities, monitoring construction progress and maintaining project documentation. You will also support the team in ensuring that construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

This position offers fresh graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience in construction site operations and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily construction and site activities.
• Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in site inspections and project coordination meetings.
• Assist in monitoring work quality, site safety and construction progress.
• Identify and report site issues, and follow up with the relevant parties.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, site records, inspection records and other project documentation.
• Monitor the delivery and use of construction materials on site.
• Support the project team in planning, quality control, coordination and contract administration.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering or another construction-related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Construction site internship or relevant work experience is an added advantage.
• Willing to work at one of the stated project locations.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project or other construction-related software is an added advantage.
• Possession of a valid CIDB Green Card is an added advantage.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage for coordination with Mandarin-speaking project teams.
