Site Engineer cum Manager

About the role

Plan, coordinate, and manage demolition projects from pre-construction to project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, work plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Supervise daily site operations to ensure safety, quality, and timely project completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel, demolition works, and site logistics.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and productivity, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve site issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox meetings.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, permits, inspections, and compliance records.
• Prepare regular project reports and provide timely updates to senior management on project progress, costs, risks, and key issues.

About you

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on site experience in demolition and scaffolding works.
• Strong understanding of demolition methods, construction sequencing, and project execution.
• Good knowledge of applicable compliance standards, workplace safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Proven knowledge and relevant certifications required to manage construction and demolition projects.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management documentation.
• Relevant demolition or construction safety certifications.
• Scaffolding supervision or management certification.
