Site Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a talented Site Engineer (Electical) to join our dynamic team at PEMBINAAN BUKIT CHEEDING SDN. BHD., based in Kedah. As a Site Engineer (Electrical), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including supervising workers, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret and implement design specifications
• Conduct site inspections, identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise
• Prepare detailed reports, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to the project management team
• Collaborate with the design team to suggest improvements or modifications to the construction plans
• Ensure all construction work is completed within budget and on schedule
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a site engineering role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Fresh Grad also welcome to apply.
• Having working experience with TNB is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions
• willing to travel to any of the following site Kedah/Johor/AWS Cyberjaya/Genting Sempah(Pahang)
• possess own transport
• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with relevant construction-related regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
• Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and Microsoft Office suite
