Job Summary

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing on-site solar power system installations, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with engineering standards, approved plans, and regulatory requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site solar installation activities (rooftop and ground-mounted systems).
• Ensure proper implementation of approved designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, installers, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and manpower productivity.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and electrical standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
• Verify correct installation of mounting structures, inverters, wiring, panels, and other components.
• Prepare daily accomplishment reports, progress reports, and site documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical and installation issues on site.
• Coordinate with utility providers, LGUs, and inspectors for testing, commissioning, and inspections.
• Monitor material usage, inventory, and deliveries at the project site.
• Support project turnover, testing, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Licensed Engineer is preferred (PRC license).
• At least 1–3 years of experience in construction or solar PV installation projects. ( Rooftop or Ground-Mount Solar farms)
• Solid knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical standards, and construction practices.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project reporting tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Willing to work on-site and be assigned to project locations nationwide.
• Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments.
