What they need
Supervise the day-to-day installation of HVAC ductwork, chilled water piping, dampers, air terminal devices, and package units in compliance with drawings and standards.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Duct & Equipment Supervision: Supervise daily installation of galvanized ductwork, dampers, flexible ducts, diffusers, FCUs, and extract fans.
- Chilled Water Piping: Oversee pipe jointing (welded, grooved, threaded), bracket spacing, expansion loops, and valve packages.
- Testing & Insulation: Conduct preliminary smoke tests for ductwork and hydrostatic pressure tests for chilled water piping; inspect vapor barrier seals.
- Consultant Inspections: Accompany consultant inspectors on site walkthroughs for WIR approvals and immediately rectify identified snags.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested with MOFA); 4+ years MEP site experience.
Required Industry & Project Background: 4–7 years in UAE MEP contracting supervising HVAC installations on residential, high-rise, or villa projects.
